Job Description

EdEx are working with 4 ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ schools across the Borough of Ealing who are looking for Unqualified Teachers – Science, Maths, and English. The Unqualified Teachers – Science, Maths, English position is the perfect opportunity for a graduate looking to kickstart their teaching career and have their teacher training funded by the school they work with.

Job Responsibility

  • Have your own classes that you are responsible for with the support of a subject specialist mentor who would work with you intensively
  • Provided schemes of work
  • Working alongside the School covering all lessons
  • Providing high quality cover lessons – KS3-4 basis
  • Having a subject specialism where your personal strengths lie
  • Raising attainment & the quality of learning
  • Inspiring & motivating young minds
  • Managing behavior effectively

Requirements

  • A degree at 1st class or 2:1 in Science, Maths, or English from a reputable university
  • Strong A-Levels and GCSEs
  • Strong experience working inside education in any of the following roles: Unqualified Teacher, Cover Supervisor, HLTA, Tutor (6 months+), Teaching Assistant (6 months+)
  • Passionate about your subject specialism
  • Committed to a career in education
  • Comfortable teaching classes of 25-30
