Job Description:

This opportunity involves working as an Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant in a modern Primary School in Lewisham. The role focuses on supporting children with a variety of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, and behavioral difficulties. The school provides a supportive environment with a knowledge-rich curriculum and strong pastoral support.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting children with a range of SEN across year groups
Working with children with Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH and behavioural difficulties
Working closely with the Class Teacher, SENCo, and other specialists
Ensuring every child’s learning experience is exciting and accessible

Requirements:

Must have a good degree from a reputable University
Good understanding of SEN is required
Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEN would be ideal
Passionate about supporting children with SEN
You must be able to work effectively as part of a team
Calm and compassionate nature
