Job Description:

Unqualified SEN Learning Mentor role supporting students with SEN, particularly ASD, in an all-through school. The role involves working closely with the SENCO to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Successful candidates will provide feedback on student progress and engage in professional development.

Job Responsibility:

Providing feedback to SENCO to ensure academic progress
Supporting SEN students including those with ASD, ADHD, and Dyslexia
Creating a safe and engaging learning environment
Being a supportive constant for students.

Requirements:

Experience with SEN is desirable
Passion for working with children
Strong desire to learn and develop
Calm, patient and empathetic
Team player
Committed to the position
Reliable and proactive.

Nice to have:

Experience with SEN
Interest in child development
Willingness to participate in professional development opportunities.
