Job Description:

Are you looking to pursue a career in teaching, mental health or child psychology? Do you wish to gain more experience working with children with SEN/SEMH needs? In the Borough of Wandsworth, an ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School is searching for an intelligent, hardworking individual to join their supportive team. As an Unqualified SEN Classroom Support, you will be working with children with SEN/SEMH needs alongside assisting in the classroom throughout the day.

Job Responsibility:

Working with students with SEND/SEMH needs including ASD, ADHD, SpLD
Providing support 1:1 and in small groups
Monitoring behaviour and improving academic grades
Assisting class teachers with delivering material in Maths, English and more

Requirements:

A graduate with strong academics looking to pursue a career working with children
Hardworking, resilient and compassionate
Passionate about working with children and young people
Experience working with young people with SEN/SEMH needs

What we offer:

£105 – £110 daily rate
Monday – Friday only (no weekends)
Term-Time only
