Working as part of the Upper KS2 team, you will support our eldest pupils to further develop their self- confidence and resilience, bringing learning to life and making a difference to the lives of children and their families in the community.
Job Responsibility
Lead the delivery of engaging, targeted learning and support pupils’ personal development
Plan and deliver tailored learning activities for individuals and small groups
Lead lessons when required to ensure continuity
Work closely with teaching staff to adapt learning and interventions to meet individual needs
Monitor progress and provide feedback
Contribute to personalised support plans
Use effective behaviour strategies to help pupils stay engaged and motivated
Build strong, trusting relationships
Requirements
Have HLTA status (or equivalent experience)
Be confident leading learning and adapting to individual needs
Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills with a calm, resilient approach
Build positive relationships and act as a consistent, supportive role model
Be committed to inclusion, safeguarding and supporting pupil wellbeing
