The Unix System Integration Analyst role involves managing Linux and Unix servers, ensuring system performance and security, and providing 24x7 support for critical production systems.
Job Responsibility:
Manage Linux or Unix servers through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems
Maintain the processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security
Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes, for efficiency and cost optimization
Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems
Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members
Requirements:
Up to 3 years on Unix or Linux administration
Knowledge of incident and problem queue management
Experience working with Linux, Windows & Unix servers
Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving skills
Flexible, team player, “get-it-done” personality
Ability to work independently (SOP based Activities), with little or no direct supervision
Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
Basic ITIL foundation, Continual Service Improvement and Total Quality Management experiences
