Job Description

Provide L2 support for Linux/Unix clusters of servers running web applications, ensuring they meet all infrastructure and network requirements, data synchronization and DNS settings. Leverage Unix command-line tools (vi, find, grep, ps, awk, sed) in daily system administration tasks to automate processes, troubleshooting issues, and optimize server performance. Develop automation scripts using Bash or Shell scripting languages to reduce manual workload and improve processes efficiency. Schedule and perform Server patches to update security policies and database vulnerabilities using Ansible Playbooks. Build and configure multi-branch pipelines for automating and deploying production requirements into Unix/Linux Servers using Jenkins CI/CD tool. Configure Cloudwatch on AWS EC2 instance and S3 bucket, ensuring that Unix/Linux instances health and efficiency is monitored continuously. Design, deploy, and manage highly available and secure AWS infrastructure, including configuring Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) with subnets across multiple Availability Zones (AZs) to ensure fault tolerance and scalability. Use ITSM tool for Service order management (SOM) to troubleshoot and provide Root cause analysis along with documented resolutions to customer issues. Implement and maintain security groups and IAM roles to enforce least privilege of access and enhance system security. Create and Configure Load balancers between datacenters with network policies including DNS names, secure(https), un-secure(http), TCP/IP and ports.
