Job Description

As a University Recruiter, you will support our University Talent Acquisition team at Uber, and learn about the business as well as the processes to acquire top talent. In this role, you will support and help coordinate the different initiatives happening within University Talent Acquisition Team - from intern (Tech and Non-Tech) recruitment, apprenticeship recruiting, coordinating internship programs to participating in internal and external events representing Uber while facilitating a world-class candidate experience. You’ll also become an expert on university recruitment, reporting on findings and presenting solutions to identified university recruitment strategies to help the broader Talent Acquisition team. You’ll partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers and the University TA team along the way.

Job Responsibility

  • Support our intern recruiting strategy to support intern hiring across all different organizations in EMEA
  • Work cross-functionally with our hiring teams, broader talent acquisition team and people team in developing highly scalable yet tailored recruiting processes keeping candidate experience paramount
  • Facilitate and cultivate successful relationships between academic and industry groups within the company
  • Be responsible for the full cycle recruiting process for intern candidates looking for full-time and internship opportunities
  • Participate in student hiring events, webinars, and conferences
  • Define and communicate the processes around how we execute sourcing strategies at events and conferences
  • Provide reporting and updates to appropriate hiring teams and functions

Requirements

  • BA/BS preferred
  • 2+ years experience in recruiting or project management within People organization OR a strong interest in making a career change into recruiting
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in university recruiting
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English
