Temporary part-time Police Officer to cover special events.

Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

  • Completion of a basic law enforcement training program recognized by the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Commission
  • One year of relevant experience in general law enforcement
  • High school diploma
  • Must possess a valid unrestricted driver’s license (corrected vision acceptable)upon employment
  • Must be a United States Citizen and at least 21 years of age
  • First Aid and CPR certification necessary within one year after employment
  • Must hold a valid Kansas Peace Officer Certification in good standing prior to onboarding
  • Must be certified by the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Commission within one year of employment and attend 40 hours of in service training each year after certification
  • Must not have been convicted of and must be free of any diversions from a felony or a misdemeanor domestic violence crime
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship
