Job Description:

This role is responsible for driving growth within our university partner network through proactive outreach and strategic relationship management. The position focuses on identifying and engaging prospective institutional partners, building early-stage relationships, and guiding institutions through the membership process. In addition, this role supports ongoing engagement with newly onboarded and developing partners to ensure a strong start and continued alignment. This position plays a key role in expanding and strengthening our university community while contributing directly to overall growth and retention goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead outbound outreach efforts to generate new university partnership opportunities
  • Build and manage a targeted list of prospective institutions aligned with organizational priorities
  • Conduct outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, events, and other strategic channels
  • Qualify inbound and outbound inquiries to assess institutional fit and readiness
  • Schedule and coordinate discovery calls and introductory meetings
  • Clearly communicate the value proposition and membership benefits to university stakeholders
  • Track engagement activity, relationship stages, and follow-up tasks within the CRM
  • Maintain a consistent follow-up cadence to nurture prospective partners
  • Support proposal development and partnership conversations in collaboration with leadership
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly growth and engagement targets
  • Support onboarding efforts for newly enrolled university partners
  • Serve as a primary point of contact during the early stages of partnership
  • Monitor partner engagement and proactively identify opportunities for deeper collaboration
  • Maintain consistent communication with assigned institutions to strengthen retention and satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities for expanded engagement and collaborate internally to advance them
  • Document partner interactions, goals, and next steps in the CRM
  • Gather feedback from university partners to inform strategy and enhance the partner experience
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and outreach strategies
  • Share insights from institutional conversations to strengthen positioning and programming
  • Coordinate internally to ensure a smooth transition from prospective partner to active member

Requirements:

  • Experience in outreach, partnerships, business development, account coordination, or higher education engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage a pipeline of prospective partners
  • Comfort engaging university decision-makers, including advisors and administrators
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple relationships and priorities simultaneously
  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong CRM discipline
  • Self-motivated with a growth-oriented mindset
  • Skilled at building trust and long-term professional relationships
  • Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in higher education partnerships, outreach, account coordination, or related fields preferred
