Job Description:

The Universal Teller is an entry-level position responsible for executing branch activities, including the day-to-day delivery of client-facing services, processing transactions, and engaging in sales activities in coordination with the Customer Service function. The overall objective is to utilize banking knowledge and experience to provide high quality customer service and to help the branch generate revenue by delivering optimal solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • assist Citi clients in opening new accounts, managing current accounts and resolving complex customer service issues
  • provide a range of coverage for branch by assisting with processing transactions at teller window or on mobile platform
  • educate clients on products and services, and identify banking solutions that may cater to their financial goals
  • build rapport to engage prospects in a banking relationship and enhance existing customer relationships
  • manage supervisory responsibilities in manager’s absence, as needed
  • fulfilling the clients’ necessities while providing an exceptional client experience measured by specific metrics
  • appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations
  • escalate, manage and report control issues with transparency
