Job Description:

The Universal Teller is an entry-level position responsible for executing branch activities, including the day-to-day delivery of client-facing services, processing transactions, and engaging in sales activities in coordination with the Customer Service function. The job aims to utilize banking knowledge and experience to provide high-quality customer service and help the branch generate revenue by delivering optimal solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Assist Citi clients in opening new accounts, managing current accounts and resolving complex customer service issues
provide a range of coverage for branch by assisting with processing transactions at teller window or on mobile platform
educate clients on products and services, and identify banking solutions that may cater to their financial goals
build rapport to engage prospects in a banking relationship and enhance existing customer relationships
manage supervisory responsibilities in manager's absence, as needed
fulfill the clients’ necessities while providing an exceptional client experience
assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets
drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency

Requirements:

1 year relevant experience
experience working in branch services
working knowledge of Office Package Management and WEB tools
financial product sales experience
ability to work well in a team oriented environment
high school diploma or equivalent
