Job Description:

The Universal Banker is responsible for improving productivity in the branch, enhancing customer experiences, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include operational efficiency, adhering to AML & sanctions policies, and maintaining HSBC’s internal standards. The role requires a blend of customer service skills, operational knowledge, and compliance awareness.

Job Responsibility:

Contributes to improving productivity in the branch
Ensure positive customer experience and manage complaints/escalations
Adherence to overall operational standards set by the bank
Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal guidelines related to Sanctions and AML policy
Promptly report sanction evasion activities and unusual transactions
Ensure prescribed processes are followed when dealing with HSBC and non-HSBC customers
Maintain high standards of service proposition and ensure positive customer experiences consistently

Requirements:

Graduate with 2 years of experience
Holistic understanding of the Branch Operations and Processes of the bank
Sound understanding of the company’s customer service requirements
Mandatory to successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment, as required
