Provides administrative and secretarial support to one or more nursing units and serves as a point of contact for staff, patients, caregivers, and other healthcare organizations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Greeting and directing visitors, relaying information and messages to patients and medical staff, and facilitating communication between the care unit and other healthcare providers
  • Answering telephones, distributing mail, preparing and filing paperwork, and ordering and storing supplies
  • Maintaining and updating patient records
