As Unit People Planning Specialist for the unit IKEA Aubonne, you will be supporting the unit and the country in the implementation of the new people planning process with the aim of efficient and sustainable ways of working. You will perform tasks related to people planning, employee scheduling, and ensuring compliance with employment standards, while collaborating closely with managers and coworkers.
Job Responsibility:
Implement people planning strategy at unit level, following principles/guidelines as localized by the Country Human Resources (People & Culture) team
ensure adherence to IKEA employment standards, legal, and union requirements related to People Planning in the unit
contribute to the unit’s complete people planning process from forecasting to the execution of the schedule by posting draft schedules timely, ensuring scheduled hours include planned absences and liaising on the development of final schedules with department managers
identify possible improvements in the unit people planning process and escalate any potential deviation to the Unit P&C manager
ensure that the unit’s people planning process supports developing our talents and enable them to deliver an excellent and personal customer meeting
collaborate with managers and Unit P&C generalist to ensure vacancies are filled with the right contract type
ensure unit co-worker awareness and knowledge of the people planning process through education, training and support
identify possible improvements in the people planning process and tools and escalate any potential deviation to the people planning manager
Requirements:
Good ability to communicate, inspire people, and lead changes within an organization
knowledge of scheduling systems is a plus
knowledge about rights and obligations of employees
knowledge of scheduling and time keeping systems
passion for people and belief in individuals' potential
strong analytics and digital skills
good knowledge of how to implement plans according to set budgets and goals
motivated by reaching goals and delivering results
prompt task execution
very good knowledge of the Swiss labour market
trustworthy and respectful of personal data laws and regulations
fluency in French and English both written and verbal
