Job Description:

The Unit People & Culture Business Partner role at IKEA involves ensuring daily People processes and routines are secured and efficiently delivered, implementing people approaches, coaching and advising leaders, and ensuring talent and succession goals are achieved. The role requires a Human Resources background with 5-7 years of experience as a Generalist and a proven record of developing people and organisations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensuring daily People processes and routines are secured and efficiently delivered to a high standard
  • implementing people approaches and all aspects of the people agenda
  • coaching and advising leaders
  • ensuring that the talent and succession goals for the assigned business areas are being consciously achieved
  • ensuring that line managers develop business competence & leadership competence
  • proactively meeting with and providing functional expertise to key stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Human Resources background with 5-7 years experience as a Generalist
  • proven record of developing people and organisations
  • experience from a global matrix organisation and/or participating on global projects
  • knowledge of implementing long-term plans
  • knowledge of creating co-worker engagement and developing talents
  • knowledge about the rights and obligations of workers and employers
  • knowledge of identifying, assessing, encouraging and ensuring co-workers´ performance
  • knowledge of introducing a co-worker to IKEA
  • knowledge of using, governing and managing partnership models
  • reflecting IKEA values
  • leading business through people
  • acting local within a global framework
  • passionate to create a people oriented working environment
  • accomplishes goals, completes tasks, and achieves results
  • develops virtual and other collaborative relationships
  • takes action without needing direction from others

Nice to have:
