Job Responsibility

  • Leading and implementing the commercial strategy and commercial calendar, as well as the IKEA Food communication and cross merchandising strategy in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Ensuring a seamless Food customer experience within all Food areas
  • Securing excellence in operations and high-quality standards of customer experience in all Food areas and optimized levels of commerciality are achieved
  • Securing the correct competence within the IKEA Food team
  • Developing and improving the Food business by seeking and acting upon customer feedback
  • Contributing to the creation and implementation of the unit business plan and the IKEA Food business plan, and ensuring food is connected to the store commercial calendar

Requirements

  • You are both an impassioned foodie and an advocate for providing solid home furnishing solutions for our customers
  • With a strong understanding of commerciality and competent stakeholder management skills, you are able to influence and negotiate effectively to position the IKEA Food function as a profitable business
  • You demonstrate excellent communication skills and are able to articulate and co-collaborate with various stakeholders and have extremely efficient time management skills to ensure projects and tasks are delivered in a timely manner
  • Along with experience in managing budgets and analyzing P&Ls, you have a strong understanding of gross margin and topline sales
  • You are able to lead your team from within and empower your coworkers to make a difference
