Job Description:

IKEA Wembley is hiring a Unit Facility Management Specialist to create safe, compliant, and efficient environments by managing tasks, budgets, and facility services. The role includes overseeing FM services like technical maintenance and waste management, supporting sustainability initiatives, contributing to budgeting and operations, and acting as an ambassador for IKEA's culture and values.

Job Responsibility:

Manage FM services to ensure safety, compliance, maintenance, and improvements for a safe and operational environment
Coordinate tasks with internal teams and external FM suppliers, and report on service quality
Conduct checks, participate in audits, and manage FM tools and documentation
Support tendering processes, contribute to goal setting, budgeting, and business planning
Ensure compliance with regulations, collaborate with 3rd parties, and provide technical support for FM operations and projects

Requirements:

Knowledge of how to plan, organize, and manage costs and expenditures for a given area, as well as assess and mitigate risks in a business environment
Understanding of the FM scope, delivery model, and business processes including work order management, contract and supplier management, and both hard FM services (e.g., technical maintenance, IT equipment) and soft FM services (e.g., cleaning, pest control, waste management)
Knowledgeable about sustainability in FM, including energy and water consumption, waste management, and transforming operations to be climate positive and contribute to a circular society
Familiarity with IKEA's corporate identity, core values, and vision
Leadership, collaboration, service-mindedness, and alignment with IKEA culture and values
