Job Description:

Take the lead in delivering safe, compliant, sustainable and innovative property solutions with Democratic design and life cycle cost on top of our mind. Actively maintain and secure that properties are kept in relevant shape for the business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support that each property is managed throughout its lifetime including safety, compliance, maintenance and improvement
  • Support purchase and implementation of relevant property management innovations, digital and technical solutions
  • Advice, mentor and support the delivery of agreed FM services
  • Develop and maintain subject area expertise
  • Participate actively in the subject matter network on local and global level
  • Drive implementation of approved best-practices and projects aimed at lowering operational cost and improving reliability
  • Contribute to goalsetting, FM budgeting activities, 5-year rolling plan and annual plan
  • Follow up of permits, licenses, certificates and reporting measures to stay compliant

Requirements:

  • Background in a multi-unit facilities management organization in a high-volume retail sector
  • Academic degree or professional qualification in Engineering or Facilities Management (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with sustainability and the environment from a facility management perspective
  • Knowledge of how to assess and mitigate risks in a business environment
  • Understanding of Facility Management service scope and delivery model
  • Knowledge of Facility Management business processes (work order management, contract and supplier management)
  • Knowledge of Facility Management standards, manuals and rules
  • Understanding of sustainability interactions with Facility Management (energy consumption, water consumption, emissions, waste management)
  • Knowledge of how to transform operations to become climate positive and contribute to a circular society
  • Technical understanding in all aspects of building and connected equipment
  • Understanding of asset management
  • Knowledge of how to deliver, organize and follow up on 'hard' service (technical maintenance, Food equipment)
  • Knowledge of all relevant IT tools within Facility Management
  • Good knowledge of English and Italian

Nice to have:

Short experience in working with sustainability and the environment from a facility management perspective
