Job Description:

For this role you will be required to co-ordinate the daily, operational running of assigned houses across the care home site; ensuring that care is delivered in line with care plans and the changing needs of residents. Where required, you will actively lead shifts ensuring that the home is adequately staffed and care is delivered as planned. You will actively contribute to the overall compliance and to follow policy and procedures. You will also actively support in upskilling your team and their practices whilst ensuring the non-clinical KPIs are monitored and measured.

Job Responsibility:

  • Actively lead shifts ensuring that the home is adequately staffed and care is delivered as planned
  • Actively contribute to the overall compliance and to follow policy and procedures
  • Actively support in upskilling your team and their practices whilst ensuring the non-clinical KPIs are monitored and measured
  • Support staff to deliver care in line with Advinia’s care principles and values alongside resident’s care plans, by promoting personal choice and independence whilst ensuring that residents receive the highest standards of personal care and attention appropriate to their needs
  • Support the person leading the shift, in each unit, in completing their role and co-ordinate support between the units as required
  • Support with medication management and administration in line with company policy across the units
  • Roster staff efficiently and cost effectively & ensure resident needs and statutory requirements are met and that agency use is kept to a minimum
  • Effectively communicate with senior management any relevant information about the running of the units and between the units of the home to ensure smooth operational delivery
  • Support the units in maintaining good professional relationships with all external stakeholders
  • Attend relevant meetings with external stakeholders
  • Aid in fostering good relationships between the colleagues within the unit, residents, and their families
  • Contribute to and ensure that mandatory audits are completed as scheduled across the service maintaining regulatory and organisational requirements
  • Step in when required and run shifts
  • Ensure that nursing care is carried out and delivered in line with best practise and CQC guidance

Requirements:

  • Valid NVQ Qualification in line with this role level (ideally level 5)
  • Previous experience within a management or leadership position within a Residential Care Setting
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Proficient in computer applications and recording systems
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practice with a care setting
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to caring for residents
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and team orientated environment

  • Direct and coordinate the Property Services Team to maintain unit interiors and common areas to the highest standard of aesthetics and safety
  • coordinate unit maintenance and renovation with unit owners and vendors, recruit new units into the Resort's rental and/or lease program
  • Coordinate, organize and direct all Owner Services functions by acting as a liaison between owners and the resort in maintaining good condition of units participating in the rental and lease programs
  • Responsible for the interior condition and standards of furnishings of assigned units
  • Coordinate maintenance and housekeeping issues with appropriate departments to maintain unit condition
  • Conduct inspections of assigned homes in the Home Inspection Program twice per month and render required reports to the owners
  • Be totally familiar with all aspects of the various contractual agreements available to resort owners
  • Maintain a comprehensive, working knowledge of all Owner Services and resort policies and procedures as well as the operating policies of those departments supporting owner interests: such as Accounting, Maintenance, Housekeeping and Association Management
  • Establish and maintain credible and professional rapport with owners by frequent and timely communication, problem solving resolution, and professional services
  • Keep the Director of Owner Services appraised of owner concerns and conflicts, systematic or recurring problems or observations to improve service or remedy hazardous conditions on the resort
