Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Adult Psychiatric Unit Clerk in Pocatello, ID. Thrive in a People-First Environment and Make Healthcare Better.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing clerical support and office management to the inpatient adult unit within Behavioral Health Services
  • Provides a communication hub for a working inpatient service, managing communication systems for the telephones, written documentation, and the electronic medical record
  • Manages office supplies, patient supplies, and some clinical supplies
  • Assists in coordinating clinical visitors for patient assessment and treatment processes
  • Has a great responsibility in coordinating the legal process and documentation of the Protective Custody process and Mental Health Court Hearings

Requirements:

  • High school graduation or GED
  • One year of secretarial or office management experience
  • Mental and emotional requirements: manage stress appropriately, make decisions under pressure, manage anger/fear/hostility/violence of others appropriately, handle multiple priorities, and the ability to work alone
  • Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Electronic medical records software
  • Ability to work varied shifts
