Job Description:

Unit Clerks play a vital role in keeping our resident units running smoothly while supporting our healthcare team. Your work helps ensure residents receive the highest quality care in a clean, orderly, and efficient environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide essential clerical services for the resident unit
  • Maintain the cleanliness and order of the nursing station
  • Support resident care through communication with other departments via phone, email, written documentation, and in-person interactions
  • Assist with service tasks according to Helen Porter policies and established job functions

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional coursework or experience in medical assisting or clerical work
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
