Job Responsibility

  • Promote risk Management in the unit, informing and sharing expertise, in order to develop risk-aware decision taking in relation to unit goals and unit business plan
  • Support co-workers, by providing expertise in acting in accordance with Ingka Rules and Local (country and regional) legislation to secure a safe environment for customers and co-workers
  • Promote and ensure completion of trainings needed and facilitate for co-workers to meet IKEAs/ Ingka's risk appetite
  • Support Risk & Compliance culture by developing leadership and conscious approach in identifying, as well as implementing systems to detect, analyse and reduce business loss, financial impact, prevent incidents and accidents
  • Ensure the reporting of relevant figures for e.g. co-workers, customer and visitors incidents to establish progress and areas for improvement

Requirements

  • previous experience in the Health and Safety and Security sector and/or Safety and Security experience within a Retail environment
  • knowledgeable of relevant safety standards and regulations, security processes, tools and working methods
  • energized by the implementation of safeguards that bring value to the business and protect the financial and moral position
  • you can ensure the integrity of safety and security systems, guidelines and documentation
  • know how to conduct a risk assessment and implement the hierarchy of controls
  • good communication and documentation skills in dealings with various levels of management
  • think and work in a risk-based way (i.e. Evaluate trade-offs between potential costs and benefits and acts accordingly)
  • good analytical and numerical skills
