The incumbent would be responsible for Claims & Product Design for UI R&D. The job needs continuous interaction with Global & regional R&D teams, Marketing teams, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Legal, Regulatory teams as well as external agencies as part of innovation product developments. This role will be accountable for leading ICE functional capability workstream – Insights, Claims, Clinical, Product Experience for B&W and PC business (Combined turnover of over 1B €). Role will heavily require translating technical insights and data into product and marketing communications, claims and activations, compelling Demo creation, Product toolkits and PR event science communications skills and content co-creation with marketing teams for PC & B&W
Job Responsibility
Lead the ICE roadmap for PC+B&W working closely with the BG marketing and R&D leads
Leverage category knowledge for adaptation in UI
Consumer and customer focus – curiosity, ability to uncover relevant insights and translate these into actionable plans. Understand the consumer habits & needs and translate insight to R&D leads/BG Marketing to develop product solutions as needed
Create marketing aids for social first content for relevant products to be adapted by BG marketing. Work closely with the marketing team to create science content that aligns with marketing strategies – not limited to demos, claims, product stories/ visuals. Ensure that the content is scientifically accurate and engaging for the target audience
Independently lead a range of crafting methods including qualitative, quantitative, social listening and agile methods, plus weaving brand equity, panel and point of sale data to paint a full picture for insights inspiration of innovation, communication and strategy development
Local Claim support: Engages with regional LCF and BG team to ensure claims are compliant to local regulatory requirements and create necessary claim support documents
Own competitor monitoring data generation and analysis for PC&B&W categories and ensure up to data information and assessment to guide brand plans
Support BG Marketing particularly on developing Social First capabilities – merging science communications with culture and consumer cohorts to develop future fit R&D Science communications, relevant to today and tomorrow’s consumers
Develop and maintain close connection with BG and BU CTI/CMI teams for PC+B&W
Drive rigor, risk assessment & mitigation and safety during projects delivery
With focus on D2C/D4C mine consumer & channel insights
Think creatively to create consumer friendly content for social first channels
