As the Snowmaking Maintenance Technician, you will primarily focus on the maintenance and repairs of company equipment.
Job Responsibility:
Responsible for personal safety and the safety of fellow employees and guests throughout all operations
Installs, maintains, and repairs all Snowmaking equipment with the ability to understand and assist crew with snowmaking operations
Completes projects assigned by the Snowmaking Supervisor and assists in accomplishing Team Lead requests
Safely and efficiently operate trucks, snowmobiles, snow cats and all snowmaking equipment
Communicates consistently with Supervisor and Snowmaking Leads regarding equipment repairs and maintenance, Snowmaking tasks, and workload of the department
Documents maintenance of Snowmaking equipment with up-to-date record keeping
Operates in a special environment with required knowledge of trade-specific tools and terminology
Requirements:
Microsoft Office skills
Must be fluent in English written and verbal
Must ski or ride at an intermediate level
Must have at least one year snow making experience
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to operate hand tools, utilize power tools and welding equipment
Be familiar and/or able to be trained to work with turbo air compressors, vertical centrifugal water pumps, fan guns, air/water guns, low–e guns and the automation of the previously listed equipment
Be able and/or trained to use a multi-meter to trouble shoot equipment and electrical circuits
Nice to have:
Experience with SMI fully auto super pole cat maintenance
