Uniform Attendant

• Collecting and sorting employee uniforms for appropriate action (washing, dry cleaning, pressing or repairing)
• Communicating professionally and cordially with all employees regarding their uniform needs
• Executing uniform inventory checks monthly and ensuring proper stocking, tagging, and distribution of uniforms
• Assisting with preparing uniforms for new employees and transfers
• Performing minor repairs, pressing, and dry cleaning of the employee uniforms
• Stamping, counting, and keeping inventory of linen supplies
• Assisting Housekeeping leaders in preparing lists of needs to create purchase orders
• Maintaining the upkeep of the uniform areas within the back-of-house
• Standing for the majority of the shift and lifting at least 50lbs
• Assisting the valet (dry cleaning) laundry operations as needed

• 1 year of previous Uniform or Laundry experience in a fast-paced operation, ideally in a hotel setting
• Comfortability working with industrial sized Wash and Dry machines and mechanical carousels is preferred
• Ability to safely utilize proper equipment and laundry chemicals
• Strong communication skills and command of English language
