Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Unica Implementation Expert with strong technical leadership capabilities and cloud-native experience to lead the design, development, and deployment of HCL Unica solutions. This role is based in Pune, India, and sits within the Software Engineering - BIBDA department. The individual will be responsible for high-level design creation, reusable framework development, and end-to-end solution delivery in a telecom domain environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead technical implementation, upgrades, and workshops for HCL Unica software
  • Define and deliver high-level designs (HLDs) and reusable frameworks using appropriate BI technologies
  • Apply data modelling techniques and drive DW design activities
  • Configure and manage WebLogic and Tomcat environments
  • Install and integrate Kafka within marketing automation frameworks
  • Serve as the single point of contact for all technical aspects of the project
  • Ensure zero-defect delivery and adherence to company policies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless solution deployment

Requirements:

  • 8–10 years of relevant professional experience in Unica and BI technologies
  • Expertise in the HCL Unica Suite including Campaign, Interact, Contact Optimisation, Plan, Journey, Deliver, Segment Central, Audience Central, and COM
  • Strong knowledge of GCP BigQuery, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS
  • Skilled in writing high-level design documents and data modelling
  • Background in the telecom domain is essential
  • Holds a B.E / B.Tech, MCA / M.Sc qualification

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Java API design and testing is a plus
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
