Job Description:

Underwriting Credit Analyst is responsible for owning the Credit Risk Analysis for Citi Corporate Clients and being responsible for the continuous monitoring of that portfolio, including production of Annual Reviews, Quarterly Reviews, and support to Ad-Hoc Transactions and Portfolio & Industry Reviews.

Job Responsibility:

Assess credit and financial strength of Citi's Corporate Clients based in Sub-Saharan Africa
Complete Credit Analysis Write-up Memos and assign internal ratings
Continuous monitoring of covered portfolio including industry trends and impacts to key relationships
Partnership with regional and industry stakeholders in Banking and Independent Risk

Requirements:

Demonstrable financial services experience, including 0-3 years of credit experience in Banking, Credit Risk Management or equivalent credit experience
Intermediate analytical skills, including understanding of key financial components like liquidity position, leverage profile
Ability to understand Citi policies and procedures
BA/BSc or higher degree in Business (MBA), or any other related subject
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills
English language proficiency

Ability to identify root causes and trends and anticipate horizon issues
Interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and exert influence
Organizational skills with ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
