Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Underwriting Assistant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Sacramento, California. This role focuses on supporting project-based initiatives, including testing and documentation tasks, to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of submission processes. If you have a strong background in quality assurance and a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.

Job Responsibility:

  • Review applications within the claims tool to confirm proper data upload and identify errors
  • Document error messages and provide detailed feedback to management based on testing outcomes
  • Analyze and summarize user experiences to support improvements in submission processes
  • Assist in proofreading and refining procedural documentation to ensure clarity and accuracy
  • Collaborate with team members to support various department projects as needed
  • Conduct backend testing to verify system functionalities and identify potential issues
  • Maintain organized project documentation for reference and future use
  • Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders and contribute to process enhancements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in quality assurance or testing roles, with a strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with reviewing and verifying applications or similar documentation
  • Ability to document errors and communicate feedback clearly to management
  • Proficiency in proofreading and editing technical or procedural documents
  • Strong organizational skills for managing project documentation
  • Experience with backend testing or similar technical tasks
