Underwriting Assistant

• Serve as the primary contact for intermediaries, fostering strong, professional relationships and ensuring effective communication
• Manage and process new motor insurance quotations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to underwriting guidelines
• Handle underwriting referrals, assessing risks and coordinating with underwriters to facilitate decision-making
• Ensure that all motor insurance placements are completed accurately and in compliance with company standards
• Drive the motor renewal process, ensuring timely and smooth renewals and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
• Address all motor-related inquiries from intermediaries promptly and effectively, providing comprehensive support and solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and efficiency in motor underwriting processes

• Minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience in motor insurance or a related field
• Strong knowledge of motor insurance products and underwriting processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with intermediaries and internal teams
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Certification in Basic Insurance Concepts and Principles (BCP), Personal General Insurance (PGI), and Commercial General Insurance (ComGl) with the Singapore College of Insurance, is a plus
