Job Responsibility:

Analyze and assess risk for new and renewal employer group contracts across a diverse book of business
Prepare and present complex quotes and renewals with precision and confidence
Use advanced underwriting tools and systems to produce accurate, timely deliverables that align with strategic goals
Collaborate with sales, claims, and customer service teams to develop tailored underwriting strategies based on market trends and business objectives
Share your expertise by mentoring peers, reviewing work for accuracy, and identifying training opportunities
Conduct audits, track allowances, and ensure all financials are accurate and aligned with compliance standards
Lead or contribute to projects focused on automation, process improvement, and operational excellence

Requirements:

5-7 years underwriting experience
Experience working independently and problem solving
Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
Confidence in presenting to internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Passion for mentoring and continuous improvement

Nice to have:

5+ years' experience in underwriting/accounting pricing methodologies and funding arrangements
Demonstrated success prioritizing work and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to utilize analytical and independent thinking skills
Demonstrated success in collaborating with others to meet/exceed expectations
