Job Description:

Eames are currently partnered with a start-up Lloyd's Syndicate who are looking to hire an Underwriter in Property Binders to join their London team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand new division with ambitious growth plans to move towards being a lead market.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the North American property binder portfolio
  • Underwriting oversight, strategy, and performance of delegated authority programmes
  • Work closely with broker partners, MGAs, and internal stakeholders to deliver profitable growth in line with underwriting guidelines and risk appetite

Requirements:

  • Strong experience Underwriting Delegated Property risks across North America
  • Experienced underwriter comfortable delivering an above-market service
  • Great broker relationships
  • Keen to contribute beyond BAU underwriting
