Job Responsibility
Develop and maintain weekly and short-term underground mine plans
Coordinate with operations teams to ensure alignment between planning and execution
Monitor actual performance against planned development and production targets
Update schedules and identify operational constraints and opportunities
Prepare stope, development, and equipment utilization plans
Participate in daily and weekly planning meetings
Analyze production data and provide recommendations for performance improvement
Ensure compliance with mine safety and operational standards
Assist with planning for ventilation, services, and mine access requirements
Generate reports and planning documentation as required
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience in underground mine short-term or weekly planning
Experience in underground hard rock mining preferred
Familiarity with mine planning software such as Deswik, Vulcan, Datamine, or MineSched
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment
