Job Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain weekly and short-term underground mine plans
  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure alignment between planning and execution
  • Monitor actual performance against planned development and production targets
  • Update schedules and identify operational constraints and opportunities
  • Prepare stope, development, and equipment utilization plans
  • Participate in daily and weekly planning meetings
  • Analyze production data and provide recommendations for performance improvement
  • Ensure compliance with mine safety and operational standards
  • Assist with planning for ventilation, services, and mine access requirements
  • Generate reports and planning documentation as required

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in underground mine short-term or weekly planning
  • Experience in underground hard rock mining preferred
  • Familiarity with mine planning software such as Deswik, Vulcan, Datamine, or MineSched
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment
