Job Responsibility

Call in and coordinate utility locates
Examine/inspect field conditions and identify problems and obstacles to production
Inspect work for compliance with the contract plans and specifications, point out deficiencies
Track and capture quantities completed on the project and review for accuracy
Identify safety hazards and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards
Perform task planning to safely and efficiently carry out all aspects of that work assigned
Monitor quality of work and assure that correct construction procedures are followed, and that work follows the plans and specifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from an internationally recognized University
Preferably having formal training in QA/QC functional aspects
Candidate shall be a safety leader
Candidate should have a minimum of 10 years overall experience in piping erection (UG & AG), pressure testing, mechanical completion and construction of oil and gas facilities
Experience as an EPIC Contractor supervisor is essential
Experience as a Client or PMC supervisor is preferred

Acts as a safety leader, ensuring EPIC Contractor's work in compliance to Company Life Saving Rules and all safety and environmental regulations of Company and the State of Qatar
Reporting to the Discipline Construction Lead/Senior Construction Supervisor on main issues, events at site, progress reporting, trends and recommendation for improvement
Assist functional supervisor in review and / or approval of Construction documentation, including Method Statements, JHAs, MARs etc., and attend HSE Walkthroughs
