Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious and hands‑on tax professional to join our Group Tax function. This role offers an excellent opportunity to broaden your tax expertise across a wide range of tax areas, gain deep insight into the business, support key strategic decisions and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Admiral Group. Reporting directly to the Head of Tax, you will play a central role in managing tax risks, delivering advisory support and contributing to strategic projects across the Group.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain and update transfer pricing documentation across the Group in line with Tax Authority requirements
  • Support transfer pricing analysis for new products and services
  • Work with internal teams and external advisors to ensure correct tax treatment for new products, processes, and business initiatives
  • Provide clear, practical advice to support commercial decisions across the Group
  • Collaborate with the in‑house M&A team and external advisors to identify, assess, and manage tax risks on potential transactions
  • Monitor new and emerging tax legislation, ensuring the Group remains compliant and changes are implemented effectively
  • Support the management of corporate tax risks relating to cross‑border working arrangements
  • Oversee day‑to‑day tax risk management and lead internal monitoring and testing in accordance with Group policies
  • Assist business units with responses to local tax authority enquiries as they arise

Requirements

  • Chartered Tax Advisor or Chartered Accountant qualification (CTA, ACA or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years post‑qualification experience in tax
  • Strong technical background with hands‑on experience in tax advisory work
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
