Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our UK Recruitment Team. The UK Recruitment Coordinator (FABSS) is a key role within our UK Recruitment and Partnerships Department. You will be responsible for delivery of key projects and activities of the recruitment operational action plan, feeding into our overarching University UK recruitment strategy but taking a lead on delivery at a faculty and course level. You will also be a lead contact for the Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Science for recruitment across the prospect journey, managing the Recruitment Assistants and liaising with the Conversion team to deliver key activities for the faculty. You will lead on development of an overarching faculty and course level recruitment action plans, covering the full prospect journey from 'awareness to enrolment'. You will manage operational delivery of activities related to the 'awareness to application' stages of the prospect journey, working closely with the Conversion team who will deliver on the 'application to enrolment stages. You will liaise closely with faculty recruitment staff, developing subject level expertise appropriately developed to service their faculty. In a fast-paced, every changing sector, it is anticipated you will have a proactive and innovative approach to recruitment delivery at the University. You will be required to deliver recruitment activities on and off campus, such as attendance at HE fairs and national exhibitions and work closely with schools and colleges. This will involve travel away from the University both within the West Midlands region and, occasionally, throughout the UK. You will also be required to be away from home on University business on several occasions each year, and to work during the evening and weekends.

Job Responsibility

Requirements

  • Experience of delivering promotional activity (including appropriate targeting, monitoring of KPIs), preferably within a classroom/training environment and using a CRM system with strong data inputting and accuracy
  • Ability to write reports including analysis of data
  • Understanding of the HE student recruitment lifecycle for both post-18 and 'non-traditional learners'
  • Experience of planning and delivering promotional activity to support recruitment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build effective relationships, being an ambassador for the university
  • Experience of supervising staff, including student ambassadors
