Job Description:

Mission of the Modernization Domains Centre of Excellence (CoE) is to define, prioritize and deliver the commercial and technical roadmap of the organization. As a Domain Architect (UIM) you will have a key role to Vodafone IT strategy, you will be responsible for the architectural design of a specific domain and contribute on the systems roadmap as well as consulting upon uplift and modernization projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participate in PI planning, collaborate with other architects, product owners, and teams during the event to provide architectural guidance and help prioritize features/tasks
  • Participate in end-to-end technical architecture across all related systems
  • Ensure that the architectural vision aligns with the organization's goals and is integrated into the planning process
  • Develop and maintain the overall system architecture, prepare the Low-Level design for his domain
  • Collaborate closely with other technical teams, (Vodafone, SIs) to deliver solutions on time/budget/scope/quality
  • Offer technical leadership to development teams by providing guidance on best practices, coding standards, and ensuring architectural integrity
  • Help resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during development and testing
  • Participate in inspect and adapt workshops to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement in the architecture and development processes

Requirements:

  • At least 2 -3 years of similar experience with strong background in application design, development & architecture in Oracle UIM
  • Experience in delivering complex solutions in OSS area in a matrix environment
  • Good understanding of integration/API technologies and web service standards. (i.e., WSDL, REST, SOAP)
  • Good understanding of open APIs (TM Forum)
  • Experience in database technologies
  • Knowledge of Java, UNIX shell scripting, UNIX operating systems
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Telecom industry
  • Higher education in Computer Science, Engineering or a relevant field
  • Agile methodology and/or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with other teams
  • Solid analytical, methodical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek & English
