Job Description

The UI/UX Designer is responsible for delivering end-to-end user experience and interface design across multiple digital products. This includes user research, journey mapping, wireframing, visual design, prototyping, usability testing, and design system development. The designer will work closely with product managers, engineers, business SMEs, and data teams to ensure every interface is intuitive, visually consistent, and optimized for productivity within an industrial environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, and contextual inquiries across field, engineering, and corporate user groups
  • Develop user personas, journey maps, workflows, and use-case scenarios for digital products
  • Identify pain points, inefficiencies, and user needs to inform design decisions and solution improvements
  • Translate complex business processes into clear, simple, and meaningful user experiences
  • Design intuitive, responsive, and modern interfaces using Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and UI mockups aligned with product objectives
  • Develop and evolve a consistent design system, including reusable components, typography, iconography, and color schemes
  • Ensure visual consistency across all products and adherence to corporate design guidelines
  • Conduct usability testing, A/B testing, and heuristic evaluations to validate design solutions
  • Collect feedback, analyze findings, and iterate designs to enhance usability and adoption
  • Collaborate with product teams to continuously improve user experience based on analytics, user behavior, and field insights
  • Work closely with product managers to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and experience requirements
  • Partner with software developers to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications
  • Cooperate with data teams to design data visualizations, dashboards, and AI-powered interfaces that are clear and actionable
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, demos) to support iterative product delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in UI/UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in UI/UX roles within enterprise, industrial, or complex multi-user environments
  • Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Miro
  • Strong knowledge of design systems, visual design principles, and responsive UI design
  • Experience creating dashboards, data visualizations, and analytical interfaces (Power BI experience is a plus)
  • Understanding of usability heuristics, accessibility standards (WCAG), and human-centred design methodologies
  • Familiarity with front-end concepts (HTML/CSS/React basics) supporting strong design-dev collaboration
  • Design Tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Illustrator, Miro
  • Prototyping: Interactive prototypes, design handoff tools
  • UX Methods: User research, personas, journey mapping, usability testing
  • Design Systems: Component libraries, style guides, patterns
  • Data Visualization: Power BI visuals, custom dashboards, UI patterns for analytics
  • Collaboration Tools: Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps
  • Front-End Familiarity: HTML, CSS, JavaScript/React basics

Nice to have

  • Experience designing for Oil & Gas, engineering, industrial, or operational environments
  • Exposure to digital twin interfaces, IoT dashboards, or field-operator tools
  • Certifications in UX Design (Google UX, Nielsen Norman, HFI, IDEO)
  • Experience in Agile and product-driven development environments
  • Familiarity with AI/ML interface concepts, explainability, and human-AI interaction
