We are seeking a UI/UX Designer to shape user experiences for enterprise applications delivered through an AI-assisted software development lifecycle. The successful candidate shall work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Engineering teams to define user workflows, information architecture, interaction patterns, and design standards. The role is responsible for evaluating and refining AI-generated prototypes, ensuring alignment with user needs, organisational design systems, and accessibility requirements. The ideal candidate combines strong UX thinking with systems thinking and is comfortable leveraging AI-assisted tools to accelerate product discovery and solution design.
Job Responsibility
Define and refine end-to-end user journeys and task flows
Design intuitive workflows for enterprise applications and operational systems
Identify usability issues, friction points, and workflow inefficiencies
Validate proposed solutions against user needs and business objectives
Design both happy-path and exception-handling experiences
Define information architecture, navigation structures, and content organisation
Ensure users can easily discover, understand, and navigate application functionality
Align system structures with user mental models rather than organisational silos
Identify opportunities to simplify complex processes and information structures
Review and critique AI-generated prototypes and user experiences
Collaborate with Business Analysts to convert requirements and user stories into validated solution concepts
Guide AI-assisted design generation through effective prompts, constraints, and design principles
Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and risks in AI-generated solutions
Assess solutions against customer design systems and UX standards
Ensure consistency across applications, products, and platforms
Identify gaps within existing design systems and recommend new components, patterns, or guidelines where required
Work with customer UX teams to align solutions with enterprise design standards
Facilitate design reviews and stakeholder walkthroughs
Conduct usability assessments and heuristic evaluations
Ensure accessibility and inclusive design principles are considered
Support UAT preparation by identifying user experience risks and edge cases
Partner with Business Analysts during discovery and requirements elicitation
Work closely with engineers to ensure intended user experiences are delivered
Participate in workshops, product demonstrations, and stakeholder engagement activities
Act as the advocate for user-centred thinking throughout the delivery lifecycle
Requirements
Proven experience designing enterprise applications, portals, workflow systems, or digital platforms
Strong understanding of user-centred design, interaction design, and usability principles
Experience defining information architecture and navigation structures for complex systems
Experience evaluating and improving workflows and operational processes
Ability to review and critique prototypes from a user experience perspective
Experience working within established design systems and governance frameworks
Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience working with customer-owned design systems and enterprise UX governance models
Experience identifying and defining new design patterns where existing standards are insufficient
Experience with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Figma AI, Lovable, Bolt, v0)
Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate product discovery, design exploration, usability analysis, and SDLC activities
Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
Experience supporting Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies
Experience in government, defence, engineering, or large enterprise environments
