Job Description:

As a UI Designer at AWTG, you will be responsible for designing visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for both web and mobile applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including UX designers, developers, and product managers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.

Job Responsibility:

Develop high-quality UI designs for web and mobile applications using Figma
Create wireframes, prototypes, and user interface elements to effectively communicate design concepts
Ensure designs are in line with the company’s brand guidelines and design standards
Work collaboratively with UX designers to translate user research findings into actionable design solutions
Partner with developers to ensure the feasibility and implementation of designs
Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Leverage Figma for designing, prototyping, and collaborating on design projects
Utilize design systems and component libraries to maintain consistency across projects
Implement responsive and adaptive design principles to ensure compatibility across various devices and screen sizes
Optimize designs for performance and accessibility, ensuring a seamless user experience
Apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces
Conduct user testing and incorporate feedback into design iterations
Stay updated on the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies to keep our products cutting-edge
Prepare and present design proposals and project updates to stakeholders
Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation for reference throughout the project lifecycle
Identify opportunities for improving the user experience and propose innovative design solutions
Participate in design retrospectives and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and workflows

Requirements:

Proven experience as a UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
Proficiency in Figma and other design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
Experience designing responsive and adaptive layouts for web and mobile applications
Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and typography
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus

Nice to have:

Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, auto-layout, and design system management
Experience with design handoff tools like Zeplin, InVision, Framer, Theme Saturn, DesignNby, Balsamiq, Axure, or Marvel
Familiarity with CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS) and how they influence design
Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate better communication with developers
Awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG) and ability to design inclusive interfaces
