Job Description:

We’re supporting a client building a next-generation industrial automation platform, and they’re looking for a UI/UX Designer who can turn complex, high-precision workflows into clean, intuitive user experiences. You’ll lead end-to-end design for a next-generation industrial automation platform: dashboards, monitoring tools, configuration screens, and graphical programming interfaces. This is the kind of work where strong UX literally impacts real machines and real-world operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead full lifecycle design: research ? flows ? wireframes ? prototypes ? high-fidelity UI
  • Work directly with engineers & operators to understand complex industrial workflows
  • Design dashboards, control panels, configuration views, monitoring tools, and IDE-style interactions
  • Convert safety & technical requirements into intuitive user workflows
  • Conduct usability tests and iterate quickly based on findings
  • Build/document design systems and component libraries
  • Partner with engineering for smooth handoff and pixel-accurate implementation

Requirements:

  • 5+ years UI/UX design experience with a portfolio showing complex or technical systems
  • 2+ years front-end web development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience designing or using graphical programming workflows
  • Experience designing or using IDEs
  • Strong in user-centered workflow design, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI
  • Proficiency in Figma or Sketch
  • Ability to run usability testing independently
  • Authorization to work in the US is a precondition of employment
