Job Description:

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a UI Front-End Developer to support our client in Ashburn, VA. The UI Front-End Developer will build single‑page applications using modern JavaScript frameworks, create reusable component libraries, and collaborate within an Agile team to design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor high‑performance front‑end solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop single‑page applications using Angular (v12+)
  • Build reusable components, libraries, and NPM packages
  • Apply UI performance tuning and optimize layout/component design
  • Collaborate with users in an Agile environment to gather requirements and refine solutions
  • Integrate applications with microservices and modern API patterns
  • Utilize Git for branching, merging, and version control best practices
  • Deploy applications to cloud environments using DevOps toolchains

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ recent experience developing front‑end applications using Angular (v12 or above)
  • Advanced expertise with HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Flexgrid), SASS, JSON, and theme development
  • 2+ years of experience with state management using NgRx
  • Experience building reusable components/libraries and publishing NPM packages
  • Experience with microservices‑oriented architectures
  • Strong UI performance optimization experience
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and creative solution‑design abilities
  • Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Visual Studio
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Must have an active CBP BI clearance or be eligible to obtain one
