Job Description:

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems in coordination with the Technology team. This hands-on role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality UI components for the Prime Brokerage technology platform, providing technical leadership for an agile development team, and driving improvements in SDLC, agile, and DevOps processes. Responsibilities also include system analysis, architecture design, risk mitigation, and technical mentorship.

Job Responsibility:

Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions
Identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
Resolve high impact problems/projects through evaluation of complex business and system processes
Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure design adheres to architecture
Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
Lead design, planning and estimation discussions
Conduct system analysis and architecture design
Oversee creation and maintenance of project/technical documentation
Identify and mitigate risks throughout the SDLC
Oversee production support processes
Guide documentation efforts and maintain on-call rotations
Lead efforts to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to mid-level developers and analysts

Requirements:

6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications
Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
React, Angular & Test-Driven Development are essential

Nice to have:

Experience in Kotlin/Java
Experience in Cloud Technologies (Kubernetes, Open Shift)
Experience in Messaging Technologies (Kafka, Solace, TIBCO)
Experience in SQL/No-SQL Database, Data Store (SQL Server, Mongo, S3)
Experience in Observability Technologies (OpenTelemetry, ELK, Grafana)
