Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI Designer to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in designing intuitive user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience. Based in Troy, Michigan, this remote flexible position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to impactful digital projects. This is an ongoing freelance position offering no guaranteed hours per week, requiring freelancers with a flexible schedule for ad-hoc work.

Job Responsibility:

Develop visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces aligned with project requirements and user needs
Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups using tools such as Figma and Adobe XD
Collaborate with UX designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design concepts
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and refine designs
Ensure consistency in design elements and adhere to established brand guidelines
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to deliver innovative solutions
Work within tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality design standards
Provide clear design specifications and documentation to support development teams
Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement

Requirements:

Proven experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe XD
Solid understanding of wireframing, prototyping, and user-centered design principles
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate design concepts clearly
Strong knowledge of user experience research and usability testing methodologies
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Familiarity with current design trends and technologies
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
