We are seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused UI Designer to join a design systems team supporting a suite of digital products across web, mobile, and device-based platforms. This role will play a critical part in building and maintaining a centralized design system documentation site that enables designers and engineers to apply consistent design standards at scale.
Job Responsibility:
Migrate, edit, and format written documentation for design system foundations, components, and patterns across multiple platforms (web, mobile, and device-based experiences)
Create visual assets, diagrams, and annotated examples to clearly communicate design system guidelines and usage
Maintain and continuously improve the design system documentation site, ensuring content accuracy, consistency, and usability
Audit existing documentation to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or outdated content and proactively resolve issues
Collaborate with designers, engineers, and program managers to align documentation with current design and development standards
Organize and structure content to improve discoverability and usability for cross-functional teams
Contribute to evolving documentation templates, standards, and workflows to enhance team efficiency
Support additional visual design and documentation-related tasks as needed
Requirements:
3–5 years of experience in UI/UX design, visual design, content design, or a related field
Strong proficiency in Figma or similar modern design tools
Excellent writing, editing, and formatting skills with the ability to produce clear, concise documentation
Experience working with or quickly learning content management systems (CMS)
Strong attention to detail and visual quality
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Communications, or equivalent experience
Portfolio showcasing strong visual design and documentation work
Basic understanding of front-end concepts (HTML, CSS, or design-to-code workflows)
Nice to have:
Experience working with design systems, component libraries, or structured documentation
Familiarity with design tokens and component-based workflows
Experience designing or documenting across multiple platforms (web, mobile, or device-based interfaces)
Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
Experience maintaining or contributing to a design system documentation site or internal wiki
