To support the activities of our HMI division, we are looking for a UI Design Intern (extracurricular internship) interested in developing skills in 2D interface design for digital and mobility-related systems. The internship offers the opportunity to learn how to design and structure graphical interfaces within professional design workflows. The selected candidate will work alongside experienced designers, contributing to the creation and organization of visual components and interface assets. A particular focus of the internship will be learning how to work with design systems in Figma, including components, variables, and variants, within projects related to mobility and HMI systems.
Job Responsibility:
Support the design and production of 2D graphical assets for user interfaces
Assist in the creation and organization of UI components and design system elements in Figma
Learn to structure scalable interface libraries using components, variants, and variables
Contribute to the preparation of graphical layouts and visual interface elements
Support designers in maintaining visual consistency across interface projects
Participate in design reviews and collaborative workflows with UX designers and engineers
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or currently enrolled) in Graphic Design, Visual Design, UI Design, Interaction Design, or related fields
Strong interest in 2D interface design and digital graphics
Interest in working with Figma and learning structured design system workflows
Attention to detail and willingness to learn professional design practices
Interest in interface design for mobility and technology-driven systems
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Good command of the English language
Nice to have:
Basic familiarity with Figma
Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools)
Personal or academic projects related to UI design or digital graphics
Interest in HMI systems or mobility-related interfaces
