We are seeking an experienced UAS Operator to support Strategic Development and Operations within the United States. This role combines operational flying, instructional leadership, and subject-matter expertise across Tekever unmanned aircraft platforms. The UAS Operator serves as Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC) and is authorized to conduct check flights, graded evaluations, and final course assessments. This position plays a key role in flight school planning, instructor oversight, operational readiness, and continuous improvement—while maintaining strict safety and regulatory compliance.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC) in compliance with Federal Aviation Administration Part 107 regulations and company procedures
Plan, execute, and debrief flight operations to the highest safety and operational standards
Conduct operational site surveys, risk assessments, and pre-deployment briefings
Support deployments, including operations in remote or austere environments
Ensure UAS aircraft are maintained in a safe, airworthy, and mission-ready condition
Perform and oversee pre- and post-flight inspections per approved procedures
Ensure maintenance follows manufacturer guidance and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate and compliant maintenance and operational records
Design, deliver, and manage training programs for Tekever UAS platforms
Provide pilot instruction and conduct check flights, graded evaluations, and annual proficiency assessments
Mentor and supervise Junior UAS Operators and Maintenance Technicians
Identify and address training gaps through performance and operational feedback
Serve as liaison between flight operations, maintenance teams, and system manufacturers
Provide on-site and remote technical support to deployed teams
Maintain technical proficiency across certified UAS platforms
Support development and maintenance of operational procedures and training documentation
Promote continuous improvement in operational standards and safety culture
Liaise with the FAA and other U.S. authorities as required
Requirements:
Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
Minimum 2 years of professional UAS flight experience
Minimum 1 year of hands-on aircraft or UAS maintenance experience
Experience supporting U.S. Government customers
Proven experience delivering UAS pilot instruction and formal evaluations
Operational experience on Group 2 and Group 3 UAS platforms
Strong leadership, mentoring, and organizational skills
Sound aeronautical judgment and decision-making skills
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including short-notice deployments
Valid U.S. driver’s license
Ability to lift and handle equipment up to 40 lbs
Comfortable working in remote or dynamic operational environments
Eligibility to work in the United States
Ability to comply with U.S. export control regulations (ITAR/EAR), as applicable
Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances or site access approvals
Ability to pass background checks and drug screening (as required)
Nice to have:
Experience in austere or contingency environments
Experience in defense, homeland security, or ISR operations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
