Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced U21 Academy Performance Analyst to support the development of Professional Development Phase (PDP) players as they transition toward first-team football. Working closely with U21 coaches, you will lead and deliver elite, evidence-based video and data analysis across pre-match, live, and post-match phases, providing performance insights that enhance both individual player development and team performance. This role is central to the club's player pathway, requiring strong experience within elite academy environments and a genuine commitment to preparing young players for the professional game.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead preparation of insightful pre-match opposition analysis
  • Deliver comprehensive live analysis on matchdays
  • Support delivery and development of post-match analysis processes
  • Capture training footage and link to development areas
  • Support objective tracking of team and individual performance through analysis of third party data
  • Contribute to ongoing development of Academy's philosophy through best practice from analysis

Requirements

  • Proven experience in elite football analysis
  • Experience within academy football
  • Effective communicator
  • Adaptable and detail-focused
  • Advanced technical proficiency in Hudl Sportscode, Studio & Insight, Apple Keynote, Tableau, Microsoft Office
