Job Description:

Valitana is looking to hire a U.S. Sales Associate responsible for driving new business. The individual hired in this role will be expected to sell our products and offerings while building a strong pipeline to achieve our sales goals. The U.S. Sales Associate will actively collaborate with internal teams to optimize delivery and gain a thorough understanding of the market and industry in which our clients operate.

Job Responsibility:

  • Gain a strong working knowledge of Valitana’s product suite to effectively communicate its value proposition
  • Analyze competitor offerings to identify differentiators and strategically position Valitana’s solutions
  • Reach out to prospects, including hedge funds, insurance companies, asset managers, and broker dealers
  • Schedule and lead introductory calls, delivering concise overviews of Valitana’s capabilities
  • Coordinate and manage product demonstrations and trial implementations for prospective clients
  • Lead negotiations on subscription terms and successfully convert prospects into long-term clients
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships within existing markets to support sustained growth
  • Drive efforts to expand existing business with current clients

Requirements:

  • 0-3+ years of experience in a financial services sales focused role
  • Demonstrates ability to develop and deepen client relationships
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships with key internal partners –Sales, Product Management, Client Services, etc.
  • Must have strong leadership, presentation, and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school

Nice to have:

Knowledge of structured finance products: MBS, ABS, CDO, CLO, and/or CMBS’s is a plus
