Provide end-to-end technical support for transmission access and backbone networks across all operational levels, including on-call support for critical incidents
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve critical transmission network faults, ensuring timely handling of customer complaints and service-impacting issues
Initiate and support actions to improve network quality, availability, resilience, and performance measurement in line with agreed standards
Perform regular health checks on transmission nodes and support enhancement projects to maintain high network reliability and operational excellence
Follow transmission, change management, and service management processes, ensuring accurate reporting, timely escalation, and compliance with agreed SLAs
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in transmission or transport network operations
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in high-pressure, service-impacting situations
Good understanding of mobile networks including GSM, 3G, and 4G technologies
Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and internal teams
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Strong knowledge of microwave transmission systems and IP networking
Hands-on experience with microwave nodes including E-band technologies (e.g. Ericsson, Huawei, SAIE or equivalent)
Experience with backbone transmission nodes (e.g. Huawei or equivalent)
CCNA-level networking knowledge (mandatory)
Nice to have:
Basic knowledge of Python programming and automation or scripting tools is an advantage
